Quality Insights has received a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH) to assist a limited number of practices to fully utilize electronic health records in the treatment of patients with asthma.

In collaboration with the Pennsylvania Asthma Partnership, Quality Insights is offering technical assistance to practices in the following areas:

  - Quality Improvement
  - Team-based Care
  - System-level Linkages

Practices who participate receive the following:
  1. EHR workflow assessment along with guidance for EHR and workflow optimization
  2. Monthly site visit with a practice transformation specialist to review DOH quality objectives and provide guidance for programs such as MU and support of your quality improvement efforts
  3. Support via phone or email by the assigned practice transformation specialist for the duration of the project
  4.  Data analysis to demonstrate how your practice compares to the peer group
  5.  Assistance with patient engagement and education initiatives related to improving clinical outcomes
